Product Overview
Alkaline phosphatase, tissue-nonspecific isozyme is an enzyme encoded by the ALPL gene. There are at least four distinct but related alkaline phosphatases: intestinal, placental, placental-like, and liver/bone/kidney (tissue non-specific). The first three are located together on chromosome 2 while the tissue non-specific form is located on chromosome 1. The product of this gene is a membrane bound glycosylated enzyme that is not expressed in any particular tissue and is, therefore, referred to as the tissue-nonspecific form of the enzyme. The exact physiological function of the alkaline phosphatases is not known. A proposed function of this form of the enzyme is matrix mineralization, however, mice that lack a functional form of this enzyme show normal skeletal development.
Usage
Reconstitute in PBS or others.
Stability
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage
Store it under sterile conditions at -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -80℃.
Stroage Buffer
The protein solution is in 0.05M phosphate buffer containing 0.15M NaCl and 0.09% NaN3 pH 7.5. Filtered through a 0.25μM membrane
